Devante Lekendrick is a multi-hyphenate actor, filmmaker, and creative entrepreneur whose journey began in the "Motor Capital of The World"; Michigan. Where many of our legends including Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Barry Gordy, Madonna, and many more all hailed. Raised between Detroit and Saginaw, later growing up living between Charlotte, NC, New York City, and Louisville, KY. Birthed by teenaged parents and shaped by a rich multicultural heritage of African, Mexican, Native, and Creole Descent; He found purpose early in music, storytelling, and performance and is trained in Argentine Tango.

 

With a B.A. in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University, Devante blends emotional intelligence with artistic discipline, building a career that spans modeling, writing, producing, and on-set roles across indie and major studios.

His credits include work with NBCUniversal, Netflix, Tyler Perry Studios, BET, Starz, The Corner Shop, Anonymous Content. Roles such as 1st AD for Talia Waajid Hair Care commercials and Set Dresser/Designer, Costume/Wardrobe, and Script Supervisor for TV pilots. Devante also spent 4 years as a Promotional Model and Brand Advocate for major brands including: Fox Sports, Trojan, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, iFly, Celsius, BET, and many more.
